Where the upcoming sustainable startups meet early adapters.

Hamburg, 21.08.2019. The first Edition of the aware_ Sustainable Startup Summit to took place at 25hrs hotels Hafencity in Hamburg. The Summit aims to bring together entrepreneurs, and upcoming sustainable startups with investors and consumers in a personal and intimate surrounding to share their visions on working towards a future where we respectfully deal with our planet’s resources, providing inspiration for sustainable lifestyle choices.

Three company’s had the chance to pitch their projects and initiatives in front of a circle of invited guests:

Alexander El Alaoui, Director of Sustainable Investment SALM SALM, discussed how to align global capital with the Paris Climate Agreement.

Laurent Petit and Till Hanors, Founder of Active Giving, presented their platform that inspires and empowers people to contribute tot he health of our planet by being physically active and explained how to plant trees by being active.

Michael Schweikart, CEO of Tomorrow Bank, talked about how the sustainable bank account is financing Renewable Energy, Organic Agriculture and Microcredit Projects.

Afterwards, a fireside chat with drinks and vegan snacks provided time for an interesting exchange between like-minded people in order to further develop a sustainable community and contribute an exchange to build together a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world.
